Regular Turfmoling improves drainage and relieves soil , compaction, improving both soil structure and promoting
healthy turfgrowth. An out of balance counter shaft imparts vibrations into the mole blades, fracturing the compaction of the soil creating drainage passages and capillary areas for root extension.

This is achieved with almost no surface disturbance enabling turfmoling to be carried out on turf surfaces without the need to remove that area from play. On fine turf areas a light rolling is all that is required to return surface back to original condition. An optional rear mounted roller is available for this purpose, or conversely a greens mower can be used with reels disengaged for the light rolling necessary.

For severe compaction on fine turf areas, turfmoling after coring will achieve even greater aeration. Turfmach's TM5 Turfmole is a tractor mounted vibrating mole plough, ruggedly constructed with fav moving parts, easy to operate and simple to maintain. The Turfmole has dual category linkage for use on a broad range of tractors. Allowing the Turfhole to be used on all types of playing surfaces ranging from golf greens, tees through to oval works, racetracks etc.

The front cutting discs are made of high tensile wear resistance steel: The mole blades are made of high tensile steel, hard chrome-plated to give long life in most soils. Optional tungsten-coated blades are available for extreme conditions. The TM5 is solidly constructed to provide a trouble-free long life service with minimal maintenance The Turfmole is sold fully assembled ready to use, fitted with 125mm by 3mm hard chrome mole blades and is complete with P.T.O shaft.
