Regular Turfmoling improves
drainage and relieves soil ,
compaction, improving both
soil structure and promoting
healthy turfgrowth.
An out of balance counter shaft
imparts vibrations into the mole
blades, fracturing the compaction
of the soil creating drainage
passages and capillary areas for
root extension.
This is achieved with almost
no surface disturbance enabling
turfmoling to be carried out on
turf surfaces without the need to
remove that area from play. On
fine turf areas a light rolling is all
that is required to return surface
back to original condition. An
optional rear mounted roller
is available for this purpose, or
conversely a greens mower can be
used with reels disengaged for the
light rolling necessary.
For severe compaction on fine
turf areas, turfmoling after coring
will achieve even greater aeration.
Turfmach's TM5
